A name or location entered in a search tool passes to the outside provider operating that tool. The provider processes the request and supplies its results. We do not keep or log those search terms on our own systems.

We retain an email sent to us as needed to respond. It remains within our organization unless disclosure is required by law.
Data We Gather Automatically
Our servers automatically receive basic technical details when a page loads:
- Page-view times and the pages opened

- The referring website, when one is supplied
- The device's assigned IP address
- Approximate time spent on each page
Cookies and Analytics
Cookies are small files stored on a device. They help show which pages draw traffic and where visits end. Analytics providers combine that usage data. Browser controls can block cookies, although doing so may change how parts of the website work.

No Criminal-Record Data on File
We do not maintain, assemble, or sell a database of personal criminal records. The site explains how Adams County records may be requested from the sheriff, Wisconsin Circuit Court, the Wisconsin Department of Justice Crime Information Bureau, and the Wisconsin Public Sex Offender Registry. Government access is governed in part by the Wisconsin Public Records Law, Wis. Stat. §§ 19.31-19.39, while Wis. Stat. §§ 165.83-165.84 address state criminal-identification collection and reporting. Those laws do not turn this private website into a government custodian. We are not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act, and visitor data is not assembled into consumer reports or third-party criminal files.
Third-Party Search Partners
Outside companies operate the embedded search boxes. Their privacy policies, retention periods, and sharing rules apply to information submitted there. We do not control those practices, so review the provider's terms before running a search.
Links to Other Websites
Links may lead to a sheriff, court portal, state agency, legal resource, or outside search provider. Once a visitor leaves this website, the destination's privacy policy controls. Review it before providing personal information.
Advertising providers may use their own systems to observe activity across websites and select targeted ads.
Who Might See Your Data
We do not sell personal data. Limited information can be disclosed to:
- Analytics providers measuring use and performance
- Search partners processing a query
- Advertising networks serving page ads
- A government or law-enforcement body acting under a valid legal order
How We Protect Your Data
Standard safeguards are used for collected data. No internet system is perfectly secure, however, and we cannot guarantee that an unauthorized disclosure will never occur.
